Review and Analysis of Ingram IT Asset Disposal Services

Choosing the right IT asset disposition (ITAD) provider is critical to mitigating risks and maximizing value. We thoroughly researched publicly available information on 8 major ITAD providers, analyzing 16 key service categories, including asset tracking, data destruction, recycling policies, and value recovery. We first conducted our research in 2024 and have new 2026 updates examining Ingram's ITAD services. While they have made some improvements in their ITAD offerings, our findings still suggest that Ingram's ITAD focus is secondary to its other services, which results in limited ITAD documentation and unclear policies. In contrast, other ITAD MSPs offer robust, transparent procedures with online tools, fast response times, and more. This report helps decision-makers evaluate their options and select an ITAD provider that aligns with their goals.
